HONOLULU (9/6/13)--Farouk Wang, long-time board member of Hawaii FCU, has died at the age of 70, the credit union said. Wang had served on the credit union's board of directors for more than 30 years, including a term as board chair and serving most recently as treasurer. He also helped shape the path of all credit unions in Hawaii as the chair of the Hawaii Credit Union League (HCUL) and a  director of the CUNA Mutual Group.
