MITEK WINS BEST OF SHOW AWARD AT BAI

Madison, Wis. -- The CUNA Technology Council presented its 13th Annual Best of Show Award to Mitek for their digital imaging software. The award was presented at the BAI Retail Delivery, which took place Nov. 5-7 in Denver, Colo.

Mitek's mobile imaging software allows users to remotely deposit checks, pay their bills, get insurance quotes, transfer credit card balances, and open accounts by snapping a picture with their smartphones and tablets instead of using the device keyboard. With a strong patent portfolio, Mitek is positioned as a leading innovator in mobile imaging software providing solutions to Fortune 500 financial services companies.

"Their Mobile Photo Billpay and Mobile Balance Transfers products were just a couple of the innovative solutions that Mitek offers with their new mobile imaging capture product - MiSnap"  said Belinda Caillouet, council chair and vice president of information technology for STCU in Spokane, Washington.  "The MiSnap technology enhances the experience of image capture by taking the guess work out of the process and ensuring a perfect picture every time."

Jim DeBello, CEO of Mitek said, "All of us on the Mitek team are honored to have received CUNA's Best in Show Award at BAI Retail Delivery.  Our mobile imaging technology enables credit unions to both increase engagement and improve service provided to existing members, as well as attract new members."

Since 2001, the CUNA Technology Council has presented the Best of Show award to the exhibitor that demonstrates a commitment to delivering technology that will further the growth of products and services in the credit union marketplace. Vendors' products are evaluated according to affordability, the benefit to credit unions and their members, a commitment to open standards, currently in use, and health of the company.
