Kate Abel

Kate Abel is the Political Programs Manager for the Credit Union National Association in Washington, DC. Kate manages CUNA’s federal political action committee, CULAC, as well as coordinates a national payroll deduction fundraising program.

Prior to joining CUNA in November 2005, Kate was the Assistant Director of the Campaign Management Institute (CMI) at American University. Before working for CMI, she was an Event Manager at The Nancy Bocskor Company, a fundraising firm specializing in political consulting, political education and event planning.

Kate earned a B.A. and M.A. in political science from American University in Washington, DC.
