The 2004 elections will be an important election for credit unions and the country. CUNA and state credit union leagues are again offering free artwork to help credit unions Get Out the Vote amongst credit union members. Five different styles are available and all can be customized for use as posters, newsletter ads, tent cards, or statements stuffers.

In addition to encouraging members to head to the polls, credit unions can also encourage their members to take the first steps of registering to vote, and of applying to vote early or by mail. CUNA has easy to use tools on its website for both voter registration and early / absentee voting. Any credit union can link to these areas of our website from your own!

It is perfectly legal for credit unions to offer these services to their members. Federal Election Commission guidelines that concern communicating to the public and credit union members are outlined below.
