Orlando Magic Co-Founder Pat Williams to Speak at Upcoming CFO Council Conference

MADISON, Wis. – Orlando Magic co-founder Pat Williams will offer credit union professionals his techniques for increasing productivity in a leadership capacity during the 14th annual CUNA Chief Financial Officers (CFO) Council Conference and Roundtable, May 18-21, in Fort Myers, Fla.

Williams – who in his 40 years with the NBA has had 23 teams go to the playoffs and five advance to the finals – will speak on “The Seven Keys to Leadership in the 21st Century.” In it, he will teach how to create a personal strategy, communicate effectively with employees, and make profitable decisions.

Additional conference sessions will cover topics including: loan and deposit pricing, merger accounting, conflict resolution, indirect lending, call reports, software innovations, community involvement, purchasing insurance coverage, and more.

Council members of five or more years will be honored at a special luncheon taking place Monday, May 19. That evening, a special Caribbean beach night social event is planned for conference attendees.
