CUNA to Offer Audio Conference on NCUA'S ISTEP I & IISeptember 12, 2001FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE MADISON, WI – CUNA’s Center for Professional Development is offering two audio conference sessions to help your credit union meet the new NCUA requirement to safeguard member information files and to the NCUA ISTEP exam. ISTEP I: “NCUA’s Expectations for an Effective E- Commerce Program” will be held from 12 – 1:30 p.m. (CDT) on Thursday, September 20, 2001, and ISTEP II: “Create an E-Commerce Plan for your Credit Union” will be held from 12 – 1:30 p.m. (CDT) on Wednesday, October 3, 2001. The NCUA representatives and industry experts participating in these audio conferences will be sharing information that will be valuable to CEO’s, IT Managers, CFO’s, Compliance Officers, Internal Auditors, and credit union staff involved with online service offerings. ISTEP PART I: “NCUA’s Expectations for an Effective E-Commerce Program” will be presented by Dan Sciorillo, Information Systems Officer in the Office of Examination & Insurance for the National Credit Union Administration, and Marcia A. Sarrazin, Director of Supervision in the Office of Examination and Insurance for the National Credit Union Administration. The session will answer the following questions:

Registrations for ISTEP I must be received by noon (CDT) on Wednesday, September 19, 2001, and registrations for ISTEP II must be received by noon (CDT) on Tuesday, October 2, 2001.
