MADISON, Wis. – Credit union management staff can hone their leadership and communication skills with two upcoming audio conferences from CUNA.

On July 14, Managing Inside the Organization will reveal key management mistakes and help attendees increase their credibility with their employees. Both the traits and common misconceptions of a good manager will be examined. Attendees will also learn tips for controlling employees’ perceptions about management and techniques for creating a positive, high-performance work environment.

Managers can discover communication techniques that will help them get the most from their employees with the least amount of effort during Effective Communication for Managers. This July 29 audio conference will also examine the connection between feedback and productivity, and how to harness positive conflict.

The tuition price for the live audio conference is $89 and includes access to the archived version of the event for six months. For more information or to register, go to training.cuna.org, and click the “Audio Conferences” link.
