CUNA Ranked Among E-Commerce LeadersNovember 12, 2001FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE MADISON, WI Interactive Week ranks CUNA among the top 500 organizations in the United States providing e-commerce services in its recent third annual survey of e-commerce businesses. The online magazine estimated CUNA's e-commerce gross revenue to be approximately $1.5 million. "We're pleased to have made the list, considering the explosion in businesses that charge for some type of online service," said Mark Condon, senior vice president of association Services, for CUNA. "We're proud of CUNA's efforts to be out in front providing online services to credit unions. This survey confirms that we are among the leaders in this area." Condon explains that the survey took into consideration traffic to CUNA.org; online content products from the Publications Department; product sales from other departments; online certification tests and online conference registrations. Because of its recent formation, CUNA Network Services operations were not part of the survey. CUNA was ranked 389th out of 500 e-commerce business and service providers listed as the top 500 in the U.S. "As CUNA Network Services grows, we certainly expect to move up on this list next year," says Condon. "Our goal is continue being a trusted provider of e-commerce content and services for credit unions."
