About This Event
The I-9 form (Employment Eligibility Verification Form) is provided by the federal government and requires employers to verify an employee's identity and authorization to accept employment in the United States. Credit unions are responsible for ensuring that the forms are completed properly and in a timely manner. Failure to comply with specific regulations on documentation, re-verification and retention can put your credit union at risk of significant fines.
