Michael McLain
Michael is senior assistant general counsel for compliance at Credit Union National Association (CUNA) and is licensed to practice law in both Ohio and Pennsylvania. He works with CUNA's Center for Professional Development to ensure its products and services are in compliance with and accurately portray federal regulations affecting credit unions. He also answers compliance questions from state credit union leagues and credit unions and is a regular contributor of compliance-related articles to Credit Union Magazine. Prior to joining CUNA's legal department, Mike served for approximately ten years as vice president and corporate counsel for a $300 million credit union in northeast Ohio and held the same positions for nearly two years at a $500 million credit union in central Pennsylvania.
