America’s Credit Unions is the strongest industry advocate, and our voices are stronger together.
To create positive regulatory change for credit unions across the country and strategically shape the industry to keep credit unions and each of us strong, we need to come together and advocate for credit unions with one collective voice.
Becoming a Business Advocate allows you to become an official credit union supporter, which gives us more of an opportunity to advocate for the movement together.
This symbiotic relationship will lead to a stronger credit union movement through our combined advocacy efforts, deeper relationships, and your newfound knowledge of the details of the credit union system while also providing you with benefits, including:

Promoted as industry advocate
America’s Credit Unions will position all Business Advocates as supporters of the credit union movement. Together, we will work to remove barriers to success by building relationships aimed at collaboration, support, and advancement of the credit union movement. We execute on this benefit by having a quarterly spot in the Monday morning press call with reporters on Capitol Hill to promote our Business Advocates.
Eligible for Advisory Committee participation *
As a Business Advocate you are eligible to participate on our advisory committee, which helps guide discussions and create action plans to make the program a success.
Allowed to join the Member Activation Program (MAP)
As the credit union industry’s strongest advocate, we make sure the voices of those you serve are heard by policymakers and regulators on important issues. You can get involved in advocacy by joining our Member Activation Program (MAP) today.
Once signed up, we'll will reach out and walk you through the program.
Access to member-only webinars
You and your staff are invited to attend our member-only webinars, giving high-level advocacy updates and insights.
Access to Credit Union House for events
Have an upcoming meeting in Washington, D.C.? Use Credit Union House as your meeting space.
Press release announcing new Business Advocates
When you become a new Business Advocate we will put out a press release about the importance of advocacy and the companies helping to further the credit union mission. This will include your business name and a snippet about the services you provide.
Quarterly advocacy discussion invitation
On a quarterly basis, join a focused discussion with our knowledgeable staff on advocacy-related items.
Business link and logo on website
You company will be listed with a website link and logo on the Business Advocate page.

Priority consideration for an America's Credit Unions speaker at your event
Priority consideration will be given to participate at events hosted by Business Advocates.
Promoted as an industry thought leader
We will work with you to find opportunities to position your organization as a subject matter expert or thought leader. For example, Premier and Elite Business Advocate CEOs are invited to attend the National Credit Union Roundtable as well as join our task forces when they are created to address industry challenges.

As a Business Advocate, you can further your professional development by receiving pricing equivalent to member pricing to attend our face-to-face learning events. Can’t attend yourself? Share our training opportunities with your staff!
Each Business Advocate organization is allowed up to two registrations per event with each tier getting:
- Associate: 2 events total
- Choice: 8 events total
- Premier: unlimited events
- Elite: unlimited events
This benefit is not meant to be used when you want to send more people to an event than your sponsorship allows. It is meant as a true professional development opportunity, so some restrictions apply.
