Cami Wheeler
Cami has worked in the credit union movement for 25+ years serving as a training and human resources director, compliance director, chief operations officer and chief strategy officer. She has experience with branch and call center management, business development, disaster recovery, and lending. Working at the state credit union league, Cami designed a prize-linked savings account for Louisiana credit unions.
Cami is a senior-certified HR Professional (SHRM-SCP), a CUNA Credit Union Risk Management Expert, and is certified to teach active shooter response.
Cami graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in Adult Education.
Cami enjoys technical writing and helping credit union employees understand dense, confusing compliance and financial topics.
