Dottie Day
Dottie began her career with Navy Federal in July 2005 at our Oceana branch, eventually selected as the Branch Manager at our Pembroke branch. She later joined the support teams as the Manager of Policy and Procedure, leading a team that provides support for projects and policy updates, as well as implements enterprise-wide change impacting Branch Operations. Prior to her selection as Vice President of Winchester and Contact Center Operations, she served as AVP of Workplace Transformation, where she was responsible for developing and implementing a strategy to transition our workforce to a new Hybrid model through partnership with business units across the enterprise, delivering solutions and tools to support leaders and teams in our new environment.
In December 2022, Dottie relocated to Winchester, Virginia where she became Vice President, Winchester and Contact Center Operations. She is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the entire Winchester Campus. The campus currently employees over 2,900 team members which includes teams from more than 15 Business Units including Contact Center Operations, Human Resources, Security, Information Services, Administrative Services, Finance, Lending, Member Strategy Office, Procurement & Vendor Management, Real Estate Lending, Savings and Membership, Digital, Branch Operations and President/CEO’s Office.
Dottie is a U.S. Navy veteran and military spouse who remains connected to our Veteran and Active-Duty families. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Studies from University of Maryland Global College and is a certified Change Management Practitioner. She enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, trying new recipes with her husband and three sons, and giving back to our military community.
She is passionate about our community and our veteran population and serves on the Shenandoah University School of Business Board of Advisors, the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley Business Advisory Committee, and serves as Chair of Navy Federal's first Employee Resource Group (ERG) focused on supporting our Military Community employees.
