Marc Reed
My name is Marc Reed (he/they), and I am a queer Learning and Development professional from Michigan. I am skilled at creating sincerity, honesty, and psychological safety in work environments. I bring life and joy to work. Graduating from Michigan State University with degrees in Human Resource Management and Psychology, I’ve gathered 6+ years’ experience in human resources, org development, training, coaching, and leading in various capacities.
My strengths include empathy, developing people, honing unique qualities in individuals, articulating messages thoughtfully/strategically, and exuding positivity. I have had leadership roles in addition to my work as a Learning and Development professional including as president of MSUFCU's 100+ member LGBTQIA+ affinity group, Alumni Adviser of Delta Lambda Phi social fraternity founded by gay men, for all men, and soon I will have my certification as a CliftonStrengths Coach. Throughout my career, I have designed and facilitated content related specifically to equity, inclusion, authenticity, bias, and socialization, which is where my passion lies.
